UTM Conventions for Social Media Platforms
Use consistent naming for social UTMs. Recommended: utm_medium=social for all social, utm_source=facebook/instagram/linkedin/tiktok/twitter. For paid social, use utm_medium=paid-social to separate from organic posts. For Instagram bio link, utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=bio. For Stories/Reels UTMs, use utm_content to differentiate: utm_content=story vs utm_content=reel. Our parser verifies no spaces or special URL-disallowed characters exist in your values.
